Meet Our Osteopaths
Dr. Louise Marry
My mantra...."I am still learning...."
Louise, also known as the "Irish" Osteopath, has been in Townsville since 2011. Louise qualified from the renowned British School Of Osteopathy, London in 2000. Louise brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
She has been the head therapist for major sporting teams and gained a wealth of knowledge and a great reputation dealing with complex injuries. Louise has a keen interest in woman's health, especially in relation to how thyroid disease affects pain levels and the musculoskeletal system.
Louise has really enjoyed her transition to Townsville. She is proud to call herself a Far North Queenslander!!! She has enjoyed the difference in the scenery and weather but is especially thankful for aircon!!!!
Louise is a keen animal lover and currently has several fur babies most of which were "strays", but are now living off the streets and enjoying the finer comforts life has to offer.
Dr. Melissa Brookfeild
My mantra...."I love being a mum"
Melissa has been qualified for several years and is a great addition to our wonderful team!
Melissa is an outstanding osteopath, who enjoys treating all kinds of conditions and injuries. She has a particular interest in treating mum's & bubs, as well as pregnancy-related issues.
Being a mother herself with two little boys and the recent addition of a little girl, Melissa understands how busy life can be. Melissa now has three children under four years of age!!! She loves to assist other mum's on their journey to being pain-free!
Melissa is currently away on maternity leave, but will be back in 2021 (Please hurry!!). So once back be sure to book in quickly as her appointments slots fill up very quickly!!!
Dr Dominic Mackie
My mantra....."I have a secret talent"
Dominic has been with us for almost a year and already feels like part of the furniture!!! He has been a wonderful addition and is very well liked by his patient's and peers. Dominic originally comes from Tasmania so Townsville has definably been a big change. Dominic completed his masers degree at Southern Cross University after five years of full time study.
Dominic has a very hands on approach to treatment and uses a lot of different modalities such as soft tissue work, stretching, manipulation, dry needling and laser.
Dominic enjoys football and a beer (what better way to integrate to Townsville!!), and plays for a local soccer team.
Dominic also has a secret talent! He is a classical violinist!
